interRAI is an international collaboration of scientists and clinicians who are committed to improving health care for the frail, elderly and disabled.  To this end they have developed a suite of evidence-based integrated assessment tools that enable reliable and valid comprehensive assessment of people in various care settings with valuable care planning outputs such as risk profiling, severity measures in problem areas, quality indicators and case-mix. Sharing of items across clinical domains opens the way for a multi-setting universal assessment system.
